Vivad Open House video
On the fifteenth of February 2024 Vivad opened it's doors to the industry for it's first open day, with over a hundred visitors. The event started at 12:00pm with a FESPA board meeting. At 2:00pm guests started arriving and soon Vivad's showroom was full.
We ran a demonstration of Vivad's propriatory web-to-print portal Vivtrack. During the presentation, I took a photo of the audience and ordered a replacement graphic for the 3.6m x 2.15 metre lightbox in the showroom. I cropped the photo down to a ration of 3:5 using the edit tool on my Iphone, I navigated to products, Vivaframe, Silicone edge graphics.I added a backlit graphic to my shopping cart, uploaded the artwork and placed the order online. Instantly Vivtrack's built in automation had the print files prepared and in the print queue.
Within 50 minutes the new graphic had been printed, trimmed, rubber beading had been sewn on and installed into the lightbox.
The other attraction of the day was a demonstration of Vivad's most recent acquisitions including our new Durst P5 HS Flad bed printer capable of printing a board a minute, as well as Vivad's new P5 iSub fabric printer with built- in, In line fixation.
Vivad were also running guided tours of our facility and had all six of our Durst large format printers running to demonstrate our printing capabilities.
At 5:00pm those who had booked a seat on the bus enjoyed a free ride to the FESPA BBQ which was held at the Richmond rowing club in Melbourne's CBD.
All in all the day was a huge success.
