Environmental Policy

Vivad have a solid track record of taking the initiative to reduce our impact on the environment. Initiatives such as moving away from solvent based inks towards low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) inks, such as UV cure-able inks, Latex inks, Dye Sublimation inks and other initiatives like offering alternatives to PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) banner vinyl including 100% polyester and other products from our evergreen range of materials.
Vivad’s soft signage options have reduced the amount of PVC we use, as well as reducing the cost and carbon emissions from transportation. Polyester packs far more efficiently and weighs significantly less than vinyl.
The advent of UV cure direct to board printing, in many situations, alleviates the need to print on an adhesive vinyl, which minimises the materials which go into our products.
Vivad recycles as much of our waste and byproducts that we can.
Any waste solvents are disposed of through an accredited organisation.
Vivad endeavours to reduce misprints and rework through our Vivtrack approval process, to ensure that the job is printed correctly first time.
Vivad always continues to seek better and greener processes and materials to minimise our impact on the environment. We don’t, however, endorse the use of green-washing to hide the unfortunate reality that as with most manufactured products, it takes resources and energy to produce the things that we sell. We do, however, institute practical innovations, such as the ones stated above in order to lessen our impact on the environment.
